Professional Experience:
Experience in the south East Asia region, having worked with WHO, UNICEF, Ministry of Health, and Project (funded by European Union, , Australian Aid and World Bank).
My present assignment with Australian Aid in Timor-Leste since 2016, I provided inputs to improve the Monitoring and Evaluation System and quality of data in DHIS and use of GIS for public health programs especially surveillance.
During 2012 – 2015, I worked closely with the Ministry of Health in Timor-Leste as their Technical Adviser on Monitoring & Evaluation. My designated role was, to develop M & E framework for Health Sector and initiates the implementation of M & E with international standards, and trained staff to collect and analyze data correctly. This included planning, supervision, implementation of DHIS 2, use of GIS for Surveillance and capacity building and use of information in making decisions.
I have experience in providing high-level strategic and regulatory advice including the formulation or influence within strategic responses, policies and procedures
