I finished my master degree majoring in International Relations in the Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) in Ewha Womans University in South Korea in August 2010. My graduate studies in International Relations has a great help in my understanding of the field, which as time goes by has become clearer and more focused, particularly on development cooperation efforts between developed countries and developing countries. This process of clarification has been aided largely by a number of key experiences that exposed me to development research and practice. My interests in development and cooperation have been inspired by the courses and bunch of lectures and conferences related to Official Development Assistance (ODA), human security and development, education and development, poverty development as well as peace-building and development in conflict areas, which to great extent constructs the theoretical base for me to be more involved in this field.
