1. Academic tasks as the faculty of Psychiatric Social Work- teaching & supervising the students of M Phil (PSW, Clinical Psychology), MD & DPM (Psychiatry) of the institute.
2. Actively involved in Research Activities related to mental health & behavioural sciences.
3. Organizing seminar, case presentations & conferences, journal clubs, book reviews, film shows & reviews, etc. for educating the students of various disciplines of psychological & behavioural sciences about the various facets of their study & academic curriculum.
4. Working as the full time consultant psychiatric social worker of the institute; responsible for supervising clinical & psychiatric social work services & interventions given to the mentally ill persons coming to the institute.
5. Working as the Head of the Department of the Psychiatric Social Work of the Institute for last 9 years.
