Professional Experience:

I began my non-profit career first as a program coordinator and later as a program director and interim executive director at YWCA of Queens, New York, striving to empower immigrant, women, and low-income families particularly through education. I managed governement and corporate funded literacy and job readiness programs.
I then came back to Seoul, Korea and worked as a contract researcher for National YWCA of Korea where I conducted a year long research on the planning, monitoring, and evaluating system of national and local YWCAs in Korea.
Currently I am working as a human rights intern at Projects Abroad in Cape Town, South Africa where I assist various legal cases in the areas of refugee, family, property, labour laws, etc.
