- Six years of experience in program design, management, monitoring and support of international development programs in Africa (Ethiopia, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Sudan, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Mali, Egypt) and Asia (Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan). All programming focusses on gender issues across a variety of thematic areas including Primary and Secondary Education, Agricultural Value Chains, Microenterprise development, Youth Economic Empowerment, Women’s Economic Empowerment, Village Savings and Loans, Child Rights and Protection, Child Early Forced Marriage, and Water and Sanitation.
- Successful experience with a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from $80,000 - $25 million including custom projects funded by individual donors as well as large institutional grants with Global Affairs Canada, Dubai Cares Foundation, Educate A Child Foundation, UNICEF, UNDP and USAID.
- Strong leadership and communication skills working with teams at both head office and field level, including direct management of 5 staff.
