Professional Experience: |
I am currently working for a firm of accountants in the UK. Prior to this was Head of the Financial Crime Section and a Special Prosecutor. A fundamental aspect of these roles required conducting investigations into serious crimes, including financial crime, corruption and money laundering. Most notably I was involved in managing a number of high profile prosecutions into fraud, bribery, abuse of public office, privatisation fraud, money laundering and tax evasion.
Prior to this I was an International Prosecutor in UMIK Kosovo, where I was responsible for overseeing investigations into serious crimes, including murders, corruption, war crimes, drug trafficking, weapons trafficking, money laundering and financial crime. I also played a key role in responding to defence appeals and dealt directly with international requests and extradition proceedings.
Throughout my career, I have taken an active role in mentoring and developing local prosecutors and colleagues, sharing my vast legal expertise. Throughout my career I have become widely regarded as a motivational and inspirational member of the team, who has demonstrated the ability to forge strong relationships across all levels of the organisation. Confident and articulate, I have a natural aptitude for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with people at all levels, while possessing excellent influencing, collaboration and negotiation skills.

I have a degree in Law and in addition I qualified at the Bar which is equivalent to a masters even though it is the legal professional final qualification in the UK.
