Professional Experience:
For the last 8 years, I worked with the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) in Nigeria to implement various public health programs. I led the Post-Pregnancy Family Planning Program in Lagos State, Nigeria where I provided overall strategic and technical leadership on a community-level post-pregnancy Family Planning project aimed at increasing access to and uptake of post-pregnancy modern contraception among Young First-Time Mothers in Lagos state. I managed government and development partner relationships and coordinated situational analysis of FP interventions in Lagos, including mapping FP partners for collaboration opportunities.

Prior to this role, I worked on the Routine Immunization program where I coordinated with the Primary Health Care Board and Ministry of Health on the development and implementation of strategies to improve routine immunization coverages. I designed a community engagement strategy in a low performing local government area in Lagos State and introduced a two-pronged intervention to strengthen demand and community referrals for newborn immunization and community ownership for routine immunization activities.

I also coordinated a Maternal and Child Health program where I supported to re-instate the core technical committee coordinating forum for Reproductive Maternal and Child Health (RMNCH) activities. Key to this role was working with the government and development partners to identify funding sources for increased investment in RMNCH activities.

I have also volunteered with non-profit/humanitarian organizations on various community and humanitarian development projects.
