As a professional I have delivered programmes in both development as well as humanitarian and DRR programming with my over 20 years of experience; of this close to 7 years in complex and insecure conflict and post conflict environments such as in Kashmir & Jharkhand in India, Afghanistan, Rwanda and South Sudan.
Qualified with an M.Phil. degree in International Relations, and a post graduate degree in Political Science and Public Administration and with a proven track record in creating, planning, coordinating and directing systematic approaches to deliver robust development and humanitarian programmes, partnership strategies and inclusion initiatives. As such, I work with a broad range of governmental, NGO, not-for-profit, stakeholder, civil society and community organisations at a local, regional and international level.
Significantly, I am passionate about responsibly overseeing programmes and emergency operations to optimise funding, accountability to beneficiaries, strengthen community work and promote sustainable leadership/people networks. I am hands-on and collaborative in my approach; whether negotiating funding strategy, liaising with stakeholders or directly intervening to solve organisational/operational issues.
