I have extensive experience in Administration/Operations/General and Finance Management, both in an NGO/United Nations and private sector environment, in Europe and the USA with some Voluntary Project Management experience in East Africa (Kenya). The mixture of Private sector (80 %) and NGO experience (20 %) makes me a unique candidate.
I am a professional worker with good planning, problem solving, decision making and organization skills. I am flexible, a fast learner and can work well in a multi-national/multi-cultural team environment. During my work at the United Nations I also did numerous online certificates and passed the United Nations language proficiency exam (UN LPE) in English with 82,50 % in the written and 94 % in the oral part, totaling 88.25 %. I also learned a lot about the UN work Environment including PeopleSoft ATLAS and some of the UN Rules and Regulations.
I am holding several degrees, both Vocational and University, a Vocational College degree (3 years) in Administration and an Advanced 2 year Vocational College degree in Management and Economics (Business Economist). Afterwards I continued on University level and completed my Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a ACQUIN accredited Master of Public Administration (specialization in Public Administration, law, Economics, Social Science). I am fluent in English and German with basic knowledge in Spanish and Swahili.
I am mainly interested working in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Mozambique but I am also open to other locations in Africa.
