Professional Experience: |
I have 23 years’ experience of working with international development organizations including international NGO, UN and bilateral in Bangladesh, Myanmar, India and Nepal in different management capacities of which almost 15 years is in senior programme management role i.e.
• 4 years as programme Manager in Rural livelihoods programme in CARE Bangladesh;
• 16 Months as Field Officer in World Food Programme
• 1 year as the Coordinator of Local Fund Management Office of Programme Support Unit of Canadian International development Agency (PSU-CIDA) in Bangladesh;
• 19 Months with Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation as regional coordinator for Local Governance programme;
• 7 years as the Country Director of HelpAge International Bangladesh Programme which included managing the partners of HelpAge International in India;
• 33 Months as the Expatriate Project Manager for GRET Delta CSO small grant programme in Myanmar, managing partnerships with 70 local CSOs; and
• Currently working as International Programme Manager, Myanmar with the International commission of Jurists since September 2019.
During working in these positions, I get intensive experience of lead and coordinate the projects and programmes to ensure overall technical and programmatic quality in implementation and the timely submission of all deliverables which includes managing the programme cycle from planning tor reporting, performance monitoring and ensure compliances as required by organization, government and donors as well as managing partnerships.
As a leader I have proven capability to handle problems with minimal guidance ii) believe I am clear and consistent in written communication specially in English; iii) I believe that I possess strong inter-personal skills and capable to establish good relationships with individuals both internally and externally; iii) I am a quick learner and can quickly learn new tasks through self-initiatives; iv)I have extensive experience of developing and implementing M&E tools and systems for complex programs;
I have more than 15 years’ experience of managing programme finances as well as managing the grants from institutional sources, trust and foundations and core individual donors. If being recruited, I can bring a complete package of experience on managing EU grants grant from development of concept note to submission of final report. I have Directly managed 5 EU grant i.e. 03 grants under EU NSA call each around 3-5 Million Euros for 3 years in Bangladesh; 1 regional EU project on investing in people with 1 Million Euros for Bangladesh; 01 Grant EU grant of 5 million Euros for 3 years under strengthening NSA in Rajasthan India. One of the major success I consider for these projects Management is no disallowance for Bangladesh projects and 5000 Euros disallowance in India project.
In my current position I am responsible for leading all operational aspects of the programme and support the team of technical experts of ICJ programmes in Myanmar, so that agreed work plan is implemented on time and within budget.

Obtained Masters in Development Studies with 3.57 GPA out of 4. and 04-years B. Sc. Honors degree with 59.99% score in Agriculture and Rural Development. In addition, I have 03 Months Post Graduate diploma in Population science and several training on strategic Financial Management and managing donor in development sector from MANGO. I have advance ToT on project cycle management, Result based management and Outcome Mapping. Apart from academic education I have on job training on Peoples Management and Leadership training from IMPACT UK.
Completed an intensive 2 weeks course on ‘Design and Implementation of Social Protection Programme and Policies’ delivered by a joint venture of Economic Policy Research Institute, HelpAge and Maastricht University.
Have completed Business English courses or British Council a diploma in French Language and successfully passed French language DELF-DALF A1 Exam with 82% score and preparing for DELF-DALF A2.
