- Major responsibilities included:
1. Member of the Finance and General Purpose Subcommittee of the Cabinet of Trinidad and Tobago with responsibility for financial oversight of expenditure.
2. Member of the Law Review Subcommittee of the Cabinet of Trinidad and Tobago with responsibility for legislation review before Parliamentary debates.
3. Lead role in running, managing and improving the various Ministries.
4. Policy and Legislation formulation
5. Ministerial Oversight of several large projects.
6. Represented Trinidad and Tobago internationally at several conferences including United Nations Women and Youth conferences.

- Major Responsibilities included:
1. Representation in the Parliament through debates of several legislation for the improvement of the lives of citizens
2. Represented Trinidad and Tobago internationally at several Parliamentary conferences including Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Conferences and Commonwealth Women Parliamentary conferences.
3. Member of the Joint Select Committee of Parliament responsible for oversight of Expenditure of several Ministries and State Enterprises
4. Infrastructure development of a rural constituency including the delivery of basic goods and services such as roads, water lines and lighting.

6. Launched Project Touch initiative which brought the services of the MP office directly to the constituents.
