Professional Experience: |
•About 17 years of project management experience from implementation of different projects of the International Labour Organization (ILO) at national, regional and international level, especially in the developing countries in Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America. The said project management experience includes project design, implementation, monitoring, providing technical support and guidance to the implementing partners, staff supervision at different levels, staff training, evaluation and donor reporting. The said project management experience covers a wide range of socio-economic developmental issues, such as underprivileged children, child labour, forced labour, child trafficking, migration of children, non-formal education, vocational training for underprivileged children, income generation activities for poor families, national policies and programmes, legal reform, enforcement of laws, and capacity building of the government and other national partners.
•Extensive experience in bilateral and multilateral negotiations with different governments, donors, UN agencies, international development agencies, various research institutions, NGOs and other development partners in different countries/regions of the world.
•Four years of NGO-experience in developing and implementing non-formal education, vocational training, and job placement programs for underprivileged children/youth.
•Four years of experience as ILO Regional Adviser in developing and implementing non-formal education and vocational training program for underprivileged children/youth.
•Extensive research experience in a wide range of social issues/problems.
•About ten years of experience in University teaching both at Undergraduate and Graduate level.
