Professional Experience: |
I came back to Paraguay in 2011 and begun my internship at the Paraguayan Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Department of Asian Affairs and later on at the Department of American Affairs. Very soon I became a very valuable element to my supervisors up to the point that they have made me part of all issues that were being handle and allowed me to participate in meetings, work as a Diplomatic Attaché and even work on different analysis regarding bilateral politics and economics between Paraguay and other nations. After almost a year of internship at MOFA I took the entrance examination to the UNITED NATION´s Young Professional Program in Montevideo - Uruguay and did so again in the year 2012 in Brasilia - Brazil, the level of competition was high and more than 40.000 people from all over the world applied to take part of it. I felt very proud that my application was accepted on both opportunities and spite of not passing the exams I feel that the experience was very rewarding.
When I got back from Montevideo I had the opportunity to work on some projects for the Embassy of China (Taiwan); one of those included the creation of an Association of Paraguayan´s Graduated in Taiwan. Another key project was the drafting of a Manual to guide students in the process of recognition of their degrees by our Ministry of Education which is key in order to validate the Diplomas obtained there. When working at the Embassy I was offered the position of Coordinator of International Relations by the leading private university in our country. At the same time I worked as a Chinese-Spanish/Spanish-Chinese translator for different companies. At the time, I am working as Charge of International Relations for the most important company in the country for the agricultural, livestock and construction sector. I saw an opportunity to broaden my knowledge at this firm since those three sectors are the main sectors in our country´s economy. We work not only for private entrepreneurs but also participate in all government tenders which makes us part of very important projects concerning the restructuring of the agro-livestock sectors as well as development of the country´s infrastructure.

In 2005 I was awarded a full scholarship by the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan). I arrived to the island in August of that year and the following month began studying Mandarin-Chinese at the National Taiwan University – Language Center Division.
After a year of language studies, I began my university degree at the same institution, in the department of Political Science - International Relations Division, obtaining my Bachelors degree in September 2010.
This degree was completely conducted in Mandarin-Chinese; however most of the study materials were in English. The examinations, as well as essays and reports were written mostly in English.
Those five years were not easy, but the whole experience allowed me to strengthen my character and person, struggles and difficulties helped me grow and have made me push even harder to overcome the challenges presented during that time.

In general, over the past ten years I've proven that I can take on great responsibilities. I've also learned to cope with a lot of pressure in any new environment with good spirit, determination and honesty. My personality, which is spontaneous, open, sincere and sociable has opened me doors and has given me the opportunity to establish relationships with people of different nations, customs and traditions. I have demonstrated that I can work effectively with others and I can shoulder responsibility and also take initiative. I am goal-oriented yet remain flexible and I am always a welcome addition to any team.
My multiple talents are evident to all that I come in contact with. Responsibility, honesty, efficiency, pro-activity and competency are main characteristics of my person. I have an innate ability and passion for learning new things. My talents are broad, including music, sports and languages. I believe I represent a new breed of global citizen, equipped with unique blend of linguistic, cultural and social expertise.
My bilingual ability in Spanish and English, and how quickly I learned to communicate in Mandarin-Chinese, my ability to work with people from different places and customs and my analytical skills make me a candidate worth taking into account.
I am more than certain that any company will benefit greatly with a person with my preparation, talents and abilities. Being a link at the international level on different scenarios is all I have been doing for the past years. It did not matter whether it was at the political, commercial or educational arena, dealing with situations at this level is what I enjoy the most.
