I'm a Senior Editor for NBCNews.com in NBC News' London bureau. I manage the relationship between digital and NBC News’ international producers and correspondents, commissioning and editing multimedia pieces for site. I also manage and edit journalists from different cultures and backgrounds across the world for daily coverage. Much of my current work focuses explaining conflicts in countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan and the Middle East in ways that humanise those involved and do not fan the flames of violence. I also help manage the site in its entirety, including running the organisation's Twitter and Facebook accounts, which have millions of followers. Before joining msnbc.com, which became NBCNews.com, I worked as a mentor and trainer at Pajhwok Afghan News in Afghanistan. I also was a freelance writer covering the Middle East and Afghanistan.
