I am a highly experienced and very successful Community Development / Workforce Development Specialist whom has spent the past 8 years helping transform a Northern Territory based Indigenous Corporation (ALPA) into one of Australia’s most dynamic social enterprises.
My innovative approach to Indigenous workforce development, which utilizes a highly refined Action Learning skills acquisition methodology deployed within an integrated community development strategic framework, has been nationally recognized (at Ministerial level) for both it’s efficacy and outstanding results.
The Arnhem Land Progress Aboriginal Corporation (ALPA) is now one of the most successful Aboriginal owned and governed businesses in Australia. In 8 years I have created the RJCP Services Division, a number of subsidiary social enterprise developments, an RTO Training Division and project managed community development initiatives throughout Arnhem Land. This required the application of a diverse range of skills and involved intricate stakeholder management in a cross cultural context, project management, contract management, quality management, management of economic development projects, business development, staff management and remaining true to the principles of my mandate for the economic empowerment and social development of Indigenous Australians.
