Currently an independent consultant working nearly full time for UNAIDS as a policy analyst and writer. In two years as a consultant, have been a core member in the development of among the organization's highest-profile policies and strategies including UNAIDS 2016-2021 Strategy, UNAIDS' position on the post-2015 development agenda and, currently, the UN General Assembly's 2016 Political Declaration on Ending AIDS.
My other major client has been the University of College London for whom I have produced a series of publications and teaching tools on global health, sexual and reproductive health and noncommunicable diseases.
Previously was a policy officer at UNAIDS in Geneva under the Chief of Strategic Policy Directions in the Executive Office for 4.5 years, often working directly with the UNAIDS Executive Director. Our small team was responsible for providing intellectual support, policy advice and strategic communications in order to articulate and promote the Executive Director's vision for the organization and for the global AIDS response as a whole. Was recruited by UNAIDS following one year at the George Washington University as a research and teaching assistant.
Am a published author with several publications on global AIDS policy, global partnerships, policy making and global governance.
