Professional Experience: |
Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the research, monitoring and documentation, and the transitional justice programmes; Plan annual programmes, including development of proposals, work plans, log frames and risk matrixes; Oversee, design and implement high impact research projects including the Organized Violence and Torture Reports, Annual Human Rights Report, Annual Transitional Justice Reports, Special Human Rights Reports; and advocacy strategies of the organisation; Develop funding proposals for donors including WFD; NED and GIZ; Ensure financial management, budget parameter and grant agreements compliance. Also oversee expenditure requests, acquittals and reconciliations; Produce thoroughly researched analytical papers on human rights, transitional justice and conflict transformation; Design appropriate interventions and recommendations for the human rights sector in Zimbabwe; Convene and facilitate regular stakeholder meetings which include training and dialogue on key human rights issues in Zimbabwe; Participate in domestic, regional and international human rights advocacy meetings; Compile and dispatch human rights reports within agreed timeframes;

Education: |
I hold two Masters degrees: a Master of Arts in Ethics Peace and Global Affairs from American University in Washington, DC; and a Masters in International Studies Specialising in Political Science from the Graduate Institute in Geneva, Switzerland. They have equipped me with a solid foundation of knowledge in human rights, governance and democracy. In addition, I gained valuable quantitative analysis skills, skills in monitoring and evaluation and program management.
