Provided day-to-day support for projects/programmes and initiatives by managing complex interfaces between key internal/external stakeholders through weekly/monthly/quarterly progress reports and meetings. Planed and delivered criteria to allow for transition of all governance, development and security-related matters within the Musa Qala District (MSQ) for the withdrawal of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) and technical advisors from MSQ Successfully managed and executed a variety of projects over the course of career with an estimated value in excess of $425m in extreme environments and conflict zones in line with USAID, USAID/OTI, EU, SIDA, CIDA, DFATD, DfID (UK AID), Irish Aid, and private donors; all within their respective rules and regulations. Mentored and supported the re-establishment of international value chain for pomegranates in Kandahar to India and UAE; established market development of raisins from Marjeh, Helmand to other Afghanistan provinces and Iran. Worked with the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL) and its local Departments of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (DAIL). Developed and trained up 5 different office operational teams from scratch to being able to take over from their International counterparts as part of the sustainability of these programmes. (Duhok, Musa Qala (Local government as well as Stabilisations Unit), Kandahar, and Marjeh). Managed multiple sub-offices (Marjeh, Kandahar, Musa Qala, and Duhok) through, start up, expansion, reductions and close outs Trouble shoot office operational problems to allow for programme expansion or streamlining of operational procedures Liaised between UN, local government, line ministries and internal and external stakeholders on a variety of projects/programmes to ensure scope of work, specifications of materials/products, pricing, terms & conditions and delivery schedules were outlined and confirmed with no adverse delays to key projects. Examples include the relocation of offices and teams in 8 Kandahar districts (including Kandahar City) and a remote district with Cash For Work (150 nationalities/32 expats).
