I am an Administrator, Logistician and Expert in Sustainable Development and Humanitarian Action, with more than eleven years of extensive working experience in managing operations for complex emergency relief and development programs in unstable environments and with proven expertise in the following areas:
• Logistics and security management;
• Procurement and supply chain management;
• Contract, audits, and risk management;
• Sub-recipients and reporting management;
• Administrative and financial management;
• Human resources management, including payroll management;
• Personal and organizational development and performance management
• Policies and procedures development and compliance management;
• Donors’ rules (Global Fund, KfW, USAID/OFDA, BPRM, UNHCR, UNICEF, ECHO, DFID).
I worked for a year with Population Services International (PSI) in Guinea, in the position of Operations Manager then Acting Director of Operations, supporting its emergency project against the Ebola outbreak and its regular projects against malaria, tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS, including its social marketing projects promoting reproductive and public health. Prior to the PSI, I worked five years for the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Chad, in gradually more senior roles, supporting its programs of humanitarian assistance to the Sudanese refugees of Darfur and local populations. My working experience with the IRC includes three years in the position of Administration and Logistics Manager and two years in the position of Administration and Human Resources Manager. I also worked two years with International Millicom Cellular (Tigo) SA in the position of Performance and Development Manager and for COGEP/Global Services in the position of Administrative and Financial Manager. As a result of this intense professional experience in Chad and in Guinea, and in addition to the skills noted above, I am extremely familiar with the humanitarian field and the unique challenges its work environment presents.
I am innovative, results-oriented, team worker and quick learner, with a distinct ability to lead and communicate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team in a cross-cultural setting and with proven skills in problem solving. I am a dedicated and highly motivated professional, able to adapt and work under extremely difficult circumstances, with limited means.
