Professional Experience: |
I spent my career which spans over two decades working both in the public and the private sector, primarily in the media industry in the UK. I am also a founder of a hiking company, Hiking the Balkans and I head a 7000 strong international cultural group on Meetup. I have worked as a broadcast journalist and a PR manager, a simultaneous interpreter at ministerial level and I have helped develop a company that grew from 150 to 600 employees during the 12 years I have spent working in sales, marketing, operations and HR.
I am now looking for an international job and given my professional experience I would be particularly good in setting up new projects in challenging circumstances. I am very focused and dedicated and have a huge drive when it comes to starting up projects. Having experience in HR and teambuilding helps me identify the right people to pull a project together.

4 year BSc degree in journalism. MSc in political studies acquired from the London School of Economics.

Affiliations and Achievements: |
In 2010 I founded a Meetup group, working on promotion of different cultures and better understanding of current affairs. It now has 41 volunteer organisers, almost 7000 members who participate in over 20 cultural and political events per month.
In 2014 I have encouraged my team at Vizrt UK to participate in a 50 mile/80km walk for charity. We completed the task in under 24 hours and raised 2600 GBP for a children's charity.
Hiking is one of my hobbies and in 2015 I took a year off and created a company Hiking the Balkans, bringing together a network of routes and mountain guides in 8 Balkan countries. It is now a sustainable business employing 6 local people in those countries.
