Professional Experience: |
Snow delivers innovative, high-impact programmes for companies that want to engage and empower communities to achieve their own solutions to challenges. Her areas of expertise include livelihoods, community-led development, gender inclusion, CSR and public-private partnerships. She has worked for a range of donor, government and NGO clients in Asia and Africa, including USAID, DFID and the UN. She is currently a Board Director of FINCA UK, an international micro-finance charity focused on women’s economic empowerment. Snow is also the former founder and Programming Director of For Common Cause, which helped people experiencing poverty to build economic opportunities by providing volunteer support, mentoring, skills training and cash transfers. She combines academic research with practical implementation, beginning her career in the private sector working with companies such as Excite and Motorola. She has two master’s degrees from the London School of Economics, the first in Political Sociology and the second in Cultural and Social Psychology. In 2015, she was shortlisted for Women of the Year in the Pioneer category by Red Magazine.
