Professional Experience: |
• An International Development officer delivering development projects with multi-country responsibilities in the East Africa region, working with multi-cultural and cross-functional teams towards achievement of set strategic objectives of the organization. • Experience in working for a G8 donor government has provided me with a good understanding of both the administrative and decision-making structures of a foreign government in pursuit of its development agenda. • My leadership, organizational, networking and management skills, have been a resource in delivering on the set targets in my past professional roles and in my current role in delivering International Development projects. • As the Vice Chairman of FINNLEMM Savings and Credit Cooperative, I led the development of the organisations’ first ever Strategic Plan document and played a critical role in the organisation turnaround and expanded revenue and balance sheet growth of over 300% during my duration in office. • Led and managed a team of 22 operational staff and successfully met operational deadlines and objectives. • Worked as a training consultant with demonstrated communication, training and facilitation skills in design and delivery of training courses at the British Council in Nairobi. • As a Director and Golf Captain of a leading golf club in Nairobi I delivered on my responsibilities in the identification, networking, negotiation and activation of sponsorship and commercial partnership agreements to surpass annual sponsorship revenue targets by 30% through negotiated partnerships with corporate clients.
