With more than 29 years of business experience, he has directed several consultancy projects for private and public institutions in Central America in the fields of microfinance, corporate governance, capacity building, financial-inclusive services, and social housing. He has conducted several project evaluations in Central America for international cooperation agencies. As former CEO of different organizations, he has a strong management and financial background.

B.S. Magna Cum Laude in Business Administration and Economics, St. Michael´s College Vermont, US CAMPUS-Fulbright Program. M.A. in Development Studies, UVG Guatemala. Licenciado in Business Administration, URL Guatemala. Currently working in doctoral research on Corporate Governance to obtain the degree of Doctor of Business Administration by USPG Guatemala. Post graduate studies in Financial Inclusion, Leadership, Risk Management, Microfinance and Corporate Governance in Harvard Business School, INCAE Business School, and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
