I have more than 20 years experience in resource mobilisation, donor relations and programme/ project management in international development. I had worked within the UN system for 17.5 years both in the field and headquarters locations. I am currently responsible for resource mobilisation for a global public private partnership in global health and leading its fund raising efforts from 3 donors. In the past 13 years as a fundraiser, I have raised nearly USD 200 million. I also have 8.5 year experience in fund management and HR management. Also heavily engaged with advocacy activities to make relatively unknown organisations (UNV and Gavi) more visible in my donor markets. My achievements include Gavi is referred to in important policy documents including Japan's global health policies and the G7 communique.

B.A. and M.A. in international relations, with a focus on international development. Received Ph.D. in Comparative Cultural Studies from Kyushu University of Japan. Wrote a thesis on community based care for orphans and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Zimbabwe.
