Professional Experience:
I have performed research and technical writing for the last 9 years, in academia, at the International Labour Organization and at the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre.
I possess an excellent and sound analytical approach to problem solving.
I am an expert in both quantitative and qualitative analysis, data interpretation and presentation of outcomes. At the ILO, I have used quantitative techniques also for policy supporting and economic forecasting.
At the IDMC I was performing literature review, internet news research and drafting reports on internally displaced people.

At the NGO Global Institute for Water, Environment and Health I have worked on the monitoring and evaluation of water-related ecosystem change and degradation, desk research on agreements and regulations in place or to be implemented
at the international level, as well as on the design of data collection, indicators, field surveys, data
management and analysis, in the framework of SDG 6.

After my work in academia, I have been applying my scientific knowledge and technical skills to economics and developmental issues. I have been training myself in sustainable development, global health and affairs. I am very concerned about the non-sustainability of our current systems, unequal distribution of resources and I am trying to explore all the possible channels to be part of the very necessary change.

I have excellent technical writing skills, including six scientific publications and three conference proceedings. I collaborated with ILO AIDS and peer-reviewed one of their final reports. I am confident in public speaking, having presented my work in 16 international conferences in 10 different countries.
I have co-organized two workshops: one in 2015 with ILO and IFRC on ``Promoting Livelihoods and Decent Work in Fragile and Disaster Settings’’, the other in 2010 at the University of Helsinki.
I have also given several outreach seminars to explain my research topics to non-technical audiences.
I am talented at relationship building with contacts across a wide range of professional, cultural and social backgrounds.
I am proactive, energetic and highly-motivated. I have developed strong ability to work both independently and in multi-faceted teams. I am flexible, efficient and reliable. I always give great attention to details, delivering high-quality results also under pressing deadlines.
