• Broad and in-depth expertise in Public Health , Maternal and Child Health and Development Policies, Strategies, and Programme Management with a long term expertise in Immunization, Polio Eradication, and Health Systems Strengthening in Developing Countries (Latin America, Africa and Asia) • More than 15 years experience in Public Health, Child Health and Policy Epidemiology based in health programme management and health policy advisory positions, within UNICEF and WHO country and regional offices, and at the National Health Authority (Brazil), bringing in both global, regional and country level experience through dedicated work with more than 35 countries including China, Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Angola, Mozambique, Swaziland, Lesotho, Mexico, Uruguay, Guyana, Haiti, Bolivia, Peru, Nicaragua, Honduras , Cuba, Guatemala, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Paraguay, Suriname, Belize and Bahamas; • Extensive, in-depth experience with working and advocating for Immunization, Logistics and Good Injection Practices, including medical waste management within a broad Maternal and Child Health agenda in globally diversified policy and budget settings.
