Professional Experience: |
I have recently worked with a non profit as a Research Associate in San Francisco, USA and provided analysis on the social and environmental impact of tar sands development in Canada region. Prior to this I was working as a freelance researcher to analyze the implementation of electronic waste laws in Southeast Asia and investigate its link with the economic development of the country.
I also have experience in international development working on climate change policies and adaptation initiatives and urban electronic waste management systems in India.

I have a Joint Master's degree in Environmental Management and Engineering from Ecole des Mines de Paris and Tsinghua University. My professional thesis focusses on the informal electronic waste recycling sector in India and gives policy recommendations to expedite formalization of the informal sector in light of the new e-waste laws in India.
I have also completed Master of Science in Bioengineering from University of Pennsylvania and my undergraduate degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology.
