Professional Experience: |
I am currently engaged as the Managing Consultant at Fairdeal Investment Limited, a financial services consulting firm. In this role I have been responsible for instituting, developing and nurturing a best practice consulting outfit in the last 4 years, that has carried through a number of assignments in the business and financial services sector, public and private sector capacity building and related assignments; either single-handedly or in collaboration with other firms. Our clients range from individuals to small scale businesses, banks and international institutions. I have also undertaken numerous assignments as an individual consultant with UCTAD/GATT and AfDB; in the area of Microfinance and financial inclusion, Infrastructure finance and Private equity transactions. I have general experience in Manufacturing, Commerce, Banking and Consulting spanning over a period of 37 years. In the last 24 years, my career has focused on Banking and Consulting. This is further detailed in my Curriculum Vitae which has been uploaded to further showcase the areas of my core competencies.

Instituting, developing and nurturing a Best Practice consulting outfit in the last 4 years, that has carried out a number of assignments in the business and financial services sector in Nigeria, either single-handedly or in collaboration with other firms. Our clients range from individuals to small scale businesses, banks and international institutions. Specifically these include:-
Structured financing for a Hotel project in Kaduna requiring repackaging of its N550m Loan portfolio for efficient servicing, and further expansion option.
Spring Capital Markets Limited; Business Process Review, Selection of Specialised staff etc for a repositioning of the company in the market place.
Fast Food Company Franchisee Program: a fast food outlet independent program aimed at opening new outlets via a special growth program. Two already in operations in Abuja. Another 8 in the pipeline for some major cities in Nigeria.
Structured a Real estate development loan for the sum of =N=2billon for Site and Services, construction of a 150 Housing units by a firm of building contractors, ARCHBUILD NIG. LTD. Project has just been completed and units already on sale.
ADB Consultant on Access Bank Tanzania XSR, Project P-TZ-IE0-003, 2013
The assignment was to determine if the objectives of the ADB in providing equity funding for this project was being met and advise on the desirability or otherwise of additional ADB participation.
ADB Consultant on Buseruka Hydro Power Project XSR, Project P-UG-FAB-005/P-UG-FAB-006, 2015. To determine the profitability and development impact of the project on the rural communities of Buseruka/Kabalega and environs in Western Uganda served by the project.
In collaboration with other firms, carried out a complete Quality Assurance review of the Internal Audit Function in one of Nigeria’s major banks with headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria, Feb/Mar 2015.
