My experience as a Registered nurse includes taking care of patients who have undergone bariatric and orthopaedic surgeries; Provide patient/family teaching as appropriate; Medication administration and immunizations; Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans for patients and families; Maintain communication with interdisciplinary practitioners to meet care objectives; Maintain and support patient’s rights to care, privacy and respect.
I have also worked as a Research Assistant/Documentalist for the United Nations Population Fund, Country Support Team for southern Africa, from 1998 - 2008 where I offered technical back-stopping services to a multi-disciplinary team of highly qualified experts in providing support to 15 countries in southern Africa in various population fields, including Sexual and Adolescent Reproductive Health, Behaviour Change Communication and Advocacy, Gender, HIV/AIDS, Population and Development Strategies.

I qualified as a Registered Nurse with a BSN in the USA in 2021. I also have a Master of Philosophy in HIV/AIDS Management with Stellenbosch University in South Africa; Master of Science in Library and Information Science with the University of Science and Technology in Zimbabwe; Bachelor of Arts in English and Communication Studies with Zimbabwe Open University
