Professional Experience:
I am a senior Program Support professional with almost 20-years’ experience in the development sector including 13 years at the senior management level.

Since October 2017, I am working with UNOPS in Myanmar, a Principal Recipient (PR) in Sub-Mekong Region being responsible for delivering the targets set out in the grant agreements, in collaboration with selected Sub-Recipients (SRs) from the National Programmes, international and local non-governmental organizations and United Nations agencies. UNOPS is the PR managing the RAI2E grant (2018-2020) established by the Global Fund in 2018, providing USD 242 million for malaria elimination activities in the Greater Mekong Subregion, plus USD 154 million for TB and HIV activities in Myanmar (2018-2020).

During these years with UNOPS, I have demonstrated my ability to manage complex and large grants, to ensure compliance with the Global Fund policies, procedures and practices and to monitor the oversight of auditors and Local Fund Agent. I also gained experience working with multiple actors including National Programmes, local NGOs, International NGOs and UN agencies. In addition, my hands-on management experience has equipped me with capacity building and coaching skills that are appropriate to a multi-cultural environment.

Prior to this, I have been working as Assistant Country Director – Program Support with CARE Australia, over 4 years in Myanmar and 4 years in Laos. I had also experience with Handicap International (a French NGO) as Financial Controller and Regional Administrative Coordinator in South East Asia and South Asia.
These prior experiences gave me an excellent knowledge of donor regulations and funding modalities of the major bilateral and multilateral donors, including UNOPS, USAID, DFAT, EU, DFID, SDC, ECHO etc . My financial and audit background allows me to manage funds, including the management of cash flow, preparation of strategic financial reports and work plans, contractual understanding of grant, as well as financial monitoring of implementing partners.

Education:
DECF (Diplôme d'études comptables et financières)
Equivalent to Master's Degree in management control, accountancy and financial management.
