Professional Experience: |
Currently, I am working as Literacy Boost Project Coordinator at Save the Children Thailand Office and the primary responsibilities are; managing project implementations; coordinating meetings with all stakeholders; conducting follow-up monitoring; and analyzing budget and writing reports. Formerly, I was working at UNHCR Maesot Field Office, as a Child Welfare Officer, or also known as, a Best Interest Determination (BID) assistant, who is responsible for conducting interview with refugee children who are at risk of protection issues and investigating if there is any protection concern. For example, the focus groups are those abandoned children, abused or exploited children. In addition to this, my task also includes ensuring the child's well-being by exploring their care arrangement in the cases that if they are separated and unaccompanied children.
Previously, I had a previous experience working with refugees with International Rescue Committee; Resettlement Support Center (IRC-RSC; previous name was International Rescue Committee; Overseas Processing Entity; IRC-OPE) from December 2006 to July 2009 which it gave me an opportunity to work for resettlement process which is one of the durable solutions which it protects refugees' rights. In addition to this, I also had a previous experience in working regarding an issue of refugees and migrant workers, mainly People of concerns from Myanmar, with various organizations such as, Amnesty International, and Asia Foundation.
