Professional Experience: |
Over the past ten years, I have worked for non profit organizations, think tanks and international organizations in the U.S.A, Latin America, and the E.U.
I have worked in fundraising and event organizing, public outreach, political advocacy, management and project development. Ss the Chairwomen of the Board of Directors of the Education Global Access Program I have conducted a team of anthropologists in field research in Central America (Mexico, El Salvador and Costa Rica) and worked closely with other NGOs to develop partnerships with organizations in Latin America and in the U.S.A. I have gained great confidence in my ability to communicate the goal and mission of my organization and learned first hand of the numerous factors that need to be taken into account to design, develop, implement and manage educational programs in developing countries.
In London, as a consultant for Save the Children UK (SCUK), I have developed technical and managerial skills by creating, with a team, a framework for a long term innovation strategy that will allow SCUK to better utilize its internal knowledge sharing mechanisms and create stronger external channels of communication and cooperation with outside stakeholders and partners. I am therefore aware not only of the external challenges and the complexity of the development landscape but also of the internal requirements for cohesion, coherence and long term organizational commitment in order to strive for ever better results and remain on the forefront in the aid sector.
