Professional Experience:
After some time spent in academic environment (PhD), I spent many years inside an International programme of WWF, as scientific consultant and policy Advisor, where I got some skills in strategy development, management, policy and stakeholders engagement).
After a degree in biology and a postgraduate degree in development cooperation, I started consulting NGOs for biodiversity and conservation for poverty alleviation: I worked in participatory assessments of natural resources and about the development of forestry- or integrated land use - plans (Kenya, Tanzania) with local communities.
I also built some experience with the private sector (impact assessment for Oil & Gas,
Mozambique, where I leaded a team of biologists evaluating an onshore potentially influenced area of 500 Kmq).
Technical skills include fieldwork (various, more than ten years) GIS (small and large scale studies), data analysis, project cycle management, participatory work (planning and implementation of community workshops and data collection).
