Professional Experience:

I have worked with local communities on a natural resources project facilitating community participation in the management of the natural resources. During this time I developed system and structures for participation (Area Development Committees) which were later adopted by Giovernment as part of decentralised structures. Then I spent 7 years working with VSO managing volunteer programmes in Zambia and Zimbabwe. I have also worked for Oxfam GB - supporting farmer groups and community schools with grants and capacity building. For the last 6 years I have been working with SNV - providing capacity development services in the WASH and local government sectors. I currently manage the Western Province of Zambia. Our work focuses on WASH, Renewable Energy and Agriculture.

Education:

Completed Masters in Poverty Reduction: Policy & Practice with University of London. I have a Master in Rural Resource Management from University of Wales and a Bachelors in Education from University of Zambia
