I have worked for numerous organizations around the world. My first placement was with AMREF Canada, where I first began to develop my skills in grant and proposal writing as well in research and writing. Since this experience, I have worked for NGOs in Uganda, Sierra Leone, Japan and Canada. These organizations have included working in microfinance, grant-seeking and resource mobilization, field research and analysis, and international program coordination. They have each given me a truly unique perspective and the ability to adapt to the ever-changing environments that is required in such positions. I currently work as an Executive Assistant, and have extensive administration skills.

My skills have developed through completing a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Queen's University, the International Project Management Program at Humber College, and a Master’s degree in International Development from Simon Fraser University. I benefited greatly from my education, as each program helped provide me with a solid background in important development issues both abroad and here in Canada, as well as all aspects of project cycle management, results-based management, proposal development, and essential computer skills, among other things. My Master’s degree also enhanced my research, analytical and writing skills as well as my ability to confidently deliver presentations.
