Professional Experience: |
Dr Kapoor is currently seeking suitable strategic and managerial roles on health and programmatic initiatives that envision availability of accessible and affordable health care. Her areas of interest are Quality in Healthcare, Disease Preventive Public Health Programs, Consultancy and Research.
Her previous positions included consulting with WHO, role as Consultant Microbiologist and Infection Control Incharge for a 100-bedded private hospital; Senior Residency from AIIMS, N Delhi; as Pubic health professional for HIV Prevention in the Middle-East and association on a CDC funded program for quality strengthening of HIV program in India.
She has also been associated with pharma consulting companies that provides evidence-based guidance to international pharmaceutical companies on drug development. Her belief is that success of any system depends on excellent knowledge of subject matter, program objectives, processes, far sight, transparent working and team and time management.
Her accomplishments include management of Outbreaks (Swine Flu pandemic of 2009; Dengue outbreak of 2005); MPH dissertation on Universal Health Coverage and MPH Practicum on development of a health screening tool.

Dr Geetanjali Kapoor has done MD in Microbiology, Masters in Public Health/MPH (Johns Hopkins University) and Hospital Management.
The MPH Program was an initiative by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, for capacity building of public health professionals in low-middle income countries.
It was a full time, 2 years program that was implemented in collaboration with The IIHMR University, Jaipur.
