Present: Sep 2012- till date Country Director, Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), NigeriaOversight, strategic leadership, Financial and risk Management, people and operations management & Resource mobilisation towards realising VSO’s Mission in Nigeria; including 1. Promote skills and enterprises for creating jobs; 3. youth participation for accountable governance & social accountability; by capacity building of over 40 partners (civil society and government organisations) through network of over 100 International / National volunteers from across the world.
Sept2011- August 2012 Head of Programs, ActionAid International, Afghanistan
Over leadership and management of programme portfolio for ActionAid International in Afghanistan with range of projects in 15 districts across Afghanistan on issues - Women’s rights, Child rights, Child protection, education, Food Security, Climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction and resilience, HIV/AIDS and Reproductive health, Democracy and governance. Human Rights based approach to Development (HRBA) is the key principle that drives ActionAid’s work. Oversight and Management of projects funded by ECHO, EC, DFID, Italian Cooperation, AusAid and other donors. Contribute to strategic planning and change management; Leading a team of over 200, including line managing a team of 10 senior managers and annual budget of over £4 Million located across the country.

Oct 2004- Aug 2011 Country Director,India/EveryChild UK: Overall responsibility for strategic and organisational leadership, vision and direction, budgeting, planning, programme development and management of EveryChild’s business in India including Financial and risk management, human resources management, change management; lead a team of 13 persons (directly line managing the senior management team of Program Manager, Advocacy and Communication manager, Administration and Finance manager, Sponsor relations Manager) and inspiring over 300 staff members working in partners organizations;
