Professional Experience: |
After a brief period of lectureship in Economics (1981-1982), I moved to the indigenous construction industry where I served as the Project Coordinator for a conglomerate in road construction, urban drainage and building construction within the Niger Delta region (1982-1983).
Between 1983 - 1985, I completed the MBA course work in Finance and joined the Nigerian financial services sector where I rose to become the Senior Manager at the African International Bank Limited. I separated in Jan 2000 to serve as a Partner of the Sharon Consultative and Research Management and I accepted a public sector appointment to serve as a pioneer council member for the Government of Akwa Ibom State's Investment and Industrial Promotion Council (1999- 2003 & 2005-2007). Returned to Sharon Consultative and Research Management and was appointed the Senior Partner in 2007. Within the firm, I have led strategic assignments for various EU subcontractors in Nigeria, supervised assignments awarded by the World Bank, DFID, Nigerian sub-nationals, private clients, etc.
