Professional Experience: |
I have dedicated my entire career to the purpose of improving the lives of underserved and impoverished people and communities around the world. I have over 8 years of experience in international development, and multiple sectors including renewable energy, water and sanitation, gender empowerment, livelihoods, HIV/AIDS and food security. As Senior Program Manager with International Lifeline Fund (ILF), I managed all Energy and Water operations and programs of the organization. I am a key player in ILF’s development of new operations and program strategies, including communications, donor relations and capacity development. I am lead in donor management, grants, and budgets as well as overseeing grant implementation, reporting and financial tracking of all awarded grants. In addition, I am responsible in designing program and M&E frameworks, guidelines, tools and budgets. Also, I assisted Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves in facilitating the Women Entrepreneurs Empowerment Workshop in Haiti in April 2015. I was also the SAFE steering committee and ISO TF representative. As ILF’s Program Director in Haiti, I was responsible for all essential functions, including developing program and operational strategies, human resources, finances, communications, entrepreneurial development, project implementation (via a market-based approach) and donor relations. I managed the organization’s local partnerships with government agencies, the UN, private sector, and INGOs. In addition, I was responsible for creating the ILF stove market presence in Port-au-Prince, Haiti; establishing local production and supply chains and distribution networks. I have a proven track record in program design, M&E, program implementation and monitoring and partnership development in a wide range of settings. I also have expertise in both FES commercialization and refugee experience. I have proven and successful track record as leader in program and management, having successfully established ILF as a key player in the clean cooking technology field in Haiti and Uganda. I was the lead implementer in WFP’s stove and briquette distribution program, which supported WFP’s school feeding program between 2011-2013. In addition, I oversaw all training and monitoring of the stove distribution program in WFP schools. I also oversaw the successful merger with a local Haitian social enterprise, which has become the largest clean cookstove producer and distributor in Haiti, in addition to the establishment of Haiti’s first mechanized FES production factory. I have and continue to successfully play a key role in the development and implementation of energy/environment and gender empowerment programs in addition to M&E activities, primarily in implementing and analyzing all collected data, which include, but not limited to market/field assessments, baseline surveys, reporting and program assessments/evalu
