Professional Experience: |
I have over 10 years professional experience and a postgraduate degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in social policy and development. I also studied at the University of Kansas, where I obtained an undergraduate degree in communication studies.
For over 10 years, I have worked short to long-term contracts in the third sector to drive communication and impact.
I have long been interested in how societies and communities respond to global challenges of social, demographic and economic change, and of poverty, migration and globalization. I've explored this interest both professionally and academically, and continue to do so in my present roles.
Lastly, I am the Co Chair of the San Diego LSE alumni group and oversee the San Diego chapter of the global network Girl Gone International.
Overall, I am driven by a desire to succeed, a thirst for knowledge and a passion to make positive social change in local and global communities.
