Professional Experience: |
My effective interpersonal and organisational skills have helped me achieve a good working record for nearly two decades. I have coordinated timely and effective food security and nutrition responses in Colombia and Venezuela, as Cluster Coordinator, ensuring appropriate coordination and collaboration between all humanitarian partners, and undertaking capacity building of national and local institutions. Also, I have practical experience managing high-quality humanitarian projects (WASH, Food Security, CASH) for 15 years in Africa, Asia and Latin America. I have managed international and national staff, aiming to build an ambience of trust, solidarity, and empowerment to unlock their full potential. Moreover, I have established offices, written country strategies and project proposals with human rights approach, implemented activities applying the same approach throughout the entire project cycle and making sure outputs are achieved in a timely and transparent manner within the allocated budget. As part of my working experience, I have also liaised with Donors, Government Authorities, and Diplomatic Officials.

Education: |
I completed a Masters in Human Rights and Democratisation with a dissertation on the right to food in Africa, where I presented how some of the impediments to realizing the right to food of the South Sudanese people led to the ethnic conflict we have witnessed in the past years, providing solutions in legal, economic and developmental terms. I have also got a Master’s in Humanitarian Action with specialization in NGO Management, including human resources, finances, logistics and funding. Also, I have further training in Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding (REACT Course by Helsinki España). All these studies have been undertaken in prestigious universities and provided me with the research skills and foundational knowledge in humanitarian and human rights principles, institutions, processes, and methods.
