Professional Experience: |
I have worked as Individual Consultant with the role of Contract and Program Manager in Government Agencies in Oyo and Lagos State, Nigeria with the sole responsibility of providing expertise for mitigating urban flood risks integrated multi-modal urban public transport infrastructure of which the planning, execution and evaluation are being financed by the World Bank, French Development Agency, Japanese international Cooperation Agency, Global Environmental Facility, Lagos State Government and Private entities. Concurrently managed planning and implementation of 8 different projects and contracts and ensure delivery within set timeline, quality requirements with a saving of about 7% of the contract sums.
I have also worked for twelve years as a Lead Project Engineer/Manager for a Government Agency in Oyo state, Nigeria and conceptualized, planned, implemented several community Development projects cutting across Water & Sanitation, capacity development and training, Agriculture and Environmental Management, Community and Social Development among others in collaboration with Unicef, USAID, The World Bank and Oyo State Government.For the community-driven development projects managed, the project management team skills were scaled up with budget savings of about 5%.
I started my career as a Maintenance Engineer with Lafarge Africa at one of the plants located at Ewekoro, Ogun State, Nigeria with the responsibility of ensuring 100% availability of cement making plants to achieve production monthly and yearly targets which I pursued rigorously within my stay of over two years and innovated an in-house kiln alignment equipment that reduced the down time by 30%.
