Professional Experience: |
I have a consolidated experience in programme and project design, implementation monitoring and evaluation in emergencies, reconstruction and development contexts within NGOs as well as UN agencies. These experiences has increased my exposure to donors in the international and national levels as well as governments to advocate for the Human Rights and Particularly got children and women and to influence policies in developing countries such as Senegal, Guinea, Chad, DR Congo, Kenya, Somalia ,Djibouti and Guinea Bissau. I am also very comfortable in dealing with communities and civil societies.
During the my past five years spent in Djibouti and Guinea Bissau as Chief of Child Survival and Development and Representative OIC for many times, I have consolidated my skills in management as well as policies, strategizing, leadership, advocacy and resource mobilization. I had to be Plan International Humanitarian Coordinator for West Africa and I have the opportunity of covering the interventions for twelve countries where Plan International is operating and I have gained on Disaster Risk Reduction and children rights.
Furthermore, my language skills enable me to easily communicate in English, French and I have leaning knowledge in Spanish and Portuguese and I am willing and able to improve other skills if required.

I have been involved in United Nations Programming and evaluation such as United Nations Development Aid Framework (UNDAF), the Country Programme Document for UNICEF and the respective review. I have been in cluster coordination for Health and Nutrition as well as Inter-cluster Lead in Djibouti and was actively involved in the Consolidated Appeal Process (CAP) and the United Nations Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF).
