Professional Experience:
I have spent 3 years working for the French Foreign Affairs Ministry in East Asia and the Balkans where I have looked at political and research cooperation projects, particularly in the field of capacity building and parternships in technology development. I have also worked as an intern in Chad for the French Agency for Development and the United Nations World Food Program where I dealt with water and sanitation capacity development and emergency food supply for refugees of the Darfur.
Education:
I hold a Master of Science in environmental sustainability and economic development from the London School of Economics and Political Science and I am currently conducting a PhD in Geography and Environment at the University of Oxford where I am looking at the interactions between climate security, sustainable development, non-renewable resource exploitation and Indigenous governance in the Canadian Arctic. I have also obtained a Master in International Relations and a Diploma in Political Science from the Institute of Political Studies of Bordeaux (Part of the Sciences Po group of schools). My specialization lies at the intersection between social and political adaptations to the challenges brought by environmental transformations, be they caused by the effects of climate change, resource exploitation and economic/financial and technological development. I offer my expertise in the following:
-internalization of externalities (CBA/Carbon markets/Payment of Ecosystems Services schemes...)
-Identification, analysis and management of socio-environmental risks linked to resource exploitation projects (renewable and non-renewable)
-Climate security (food, land and water sovereignty) and politico-environmental conflicts analysis for the development of macro-level perspectives on sustainable development
-Solutions for successful resource exploitation projects proponents-community partnerships
