2013 – 2016 Specialist Technical Advisor Community – Lao PDR; MMG LXML Sepon copper mine
-Featured speaker at the 2015 CSR-Asia Extractive Forum.
-Represented LXML Sepon at numerous Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Free Prior Informed Consent (FPIC), Community Relations, and Community Development conferences and meetings.
-Revised Grievance Procedures in line with in Ruggie principles and international norms.
-Spearheaded two multi-stakeholder partnerships to lay the foundation for a resilient post-mine economy. Partners included PepsiCo, local government, local community and the mine.
-Oversaw budget for full Safety Health Environment Community Department ($8.5M)
-Led cost cutting exercises across SHEC department achieving efficiency targets of 34%.

2010 – 2012 Superintendent Community Development – Lao PDR; MMG LXML Sepon copper mine
-Developed cohesive strategic plan to improve health, education, and livelihoods. Resulting in significant increase in local sourcing, community participation and ownership, increase in number of local businesses supported by the mine, and improved food security for more than 1,300 families.
-Promoted to an advisory/coaching position with responsibility for community relations, community development, local government relations, and archaeology/cultural heritage.

2008 – 2010 Country Director Lao PDR; Concern Worldwide
-Demonstrated exceptional management skill closing the Lao program, successfully completing nearly 20 years of projects and making redundant more than 80 staff. Achieved closure without damaging the reputation or relationship with the Government, while avoiding any grievances with the team.
-Chairperson of the International NGO Network.

2005 – 2007 Assistant Country Director & Country Director Afghanistan; Concern Worldwide
-Improved productivity: achieved program growth ($3.7M - $6.5M/year) while maintaining constant staff numbers and decreasing overhead costs.

2003 – 2004 Desk Officer Worldwide Region (Afghanistan, Haiti, North Korea, Iraq); Concern WW
-Responsible for support to field programs primarily in Afghanistan, Haiti, Iraq, and DPR Korea, with additional coverage for Honduras, Kosovo, and Serbia.

-Final responsibility for all factors involved in setting up an emergency country programme: formulating strategy, hiring and managing team, designing and managing projects (health), securing funding worth $1.3M, and creating strong networks with the United Nations, non-profit organisations, and the government.
