Professional Experience:
I currently serve as a Cyber Analyst for a U.S. Department of Defense client, for which I conduct in-depth open source Internet research using proprietary and classified databases and techniques to write weekly analytical reports for senior government leadership.

Previously, I supported the development and refinement of Booz' proprietary cyber threat intelligence repository, drawing on my cyber intelligence expertise to populate content and create linkages between objects in the portal for use by analysts and commercial clients. I additionally provided a comprehensive list of suggestions to the software developers, lending an analyst's perspective on fixes and possible new features.

Prior to that, I supported Booz' proprietary cyber intelligence managed service as a threat analyst. My primary responsibility was to monitor open-source news feeds and author daily and monthly intelligence analysis summaries pertaining to priority cyber threat intelligence requirements for commercial clients. I focused on news feeds from the Latin America and Europe/Russia regions, using my Spanish and Russian language skills. Additionally, I was designated to be the backup copy editor for the entire threat intelligence team, ensuring that products were compliant with all format, style, grammar, and spelling guidelines.

Additionally, I supported the Booz commercial team’s creation and refinement of the proprietary CyberM3 Reference Model, which provides a framework for corporations to holistically assess and improve their cybersecurity. Specifically, I created a spreadsheet mapping the CyberM3 Reference Model against other cybersecurity control standards, including NIST 800-53, HIPAA, SANS 20, and ISO 27001. I also identified gaps in the current version of CyberM3 for development of a future version, and wrote a “CyberM3 101” memo enumerating the value-add of CyberM3 for prospective Booz clients.

Prior to Booz, I interned at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Office of International Affairs, where I researched and wrote policy memos for the Latin America and Europe teams, edited, analyzed, and compared policy documents, including letters to
foreign dignitaries, using my Spanish language skills, and participated in numerous meetings at federal agencies and embassies.
