Professional Experience: |
With more than twenty years of working experience in several Specialized Units of the Federal Police in Germany, as well as in conflict zones like Kosovo (UNMIK), Afghanistan (EUPOL and German Embassy), Iraq (German Embassy) and Libya (German Embassy), I developed planing, organization and analytic skills, acquired both in the field and through studies.
I am a highly motivated professional and a competent problem solver, capable of developing innovative and appropriate responses. Working alone or in a team, I have high expectations on myself and my colleagues.
During my time as Team Leader and Deputy Commander in Kosovo (UNMIK), Training Advisor (EUPOL) and several Team Leader positions in Germany, I have a proven track record of coordinating, and managing international and national teams, further, I have been instrumental in the planing and organization of successful operations that have delivered all objectives.
I am also a highly experienced trainer specialising in conducting needs analysis and delivered training to local and international teams in areas from human rights to weapons and tactics.
I am inspired most when given the opportunity to support the international community on peacekeeping and conflict resolution activities and I took and will undertake further qualifications to facilitate the development of a career in this field

After my High School Diploma (GCSE), I joined the Federal Police Germany and finished the academy with the Intermediate Law Enforcement Service Certification. During my time in the Federal Police I got certificates for courses in leadership, civilian crisis management (UN-certified), several training courses, interrogation course.. I am a certified paramedic and international trainer for ASP (tactical baton).I graduated from special courses, trained by the GSG9, for anti-terror units like Air-Marshal and Close Protection Unit in crisis areas, also a forensic course for mobile phones.
Next to my Project Management certificate, I hold a MSc in Security, Conflict and International Development (MSc Degree: Merit).
