Task Performed:
• Managed and advised on all procurement actions for the MiDA Core Team that developed the second Ghana Compact. Acted as Procurement Representative for MiDA Core and interfaced with interested Bidders and the public.
• Managed the processes for the engagement of the Compact 2 Procurement Agent and Fiscal Agents.
• Managed the process for the selection of a Fiduciary Bank for Banking and Financial Services for Compact 2.
• Managed the processes for 'Remodelling of MiDA Offices' to create space and to co-locate the Procurement and Fiscal Agents into MiDA Offices.
• Prepared the Compact 2, Draft Compact Implementation Funding (CIF) Procurement Plan for the period October 2014 to July 2015.

Task Performed:
• Directed and managed the implementation of a procurement strategy and procedures that ensured the successful handling of all procurements under Ghana's first Compact.
• Directed, supervised and managed the work of the Compact 1 Procurement Agent Services.
• Directed the Procurement Agent to development and implemented a Procurement Operations Manual (POM), Contract Administration Manual (CAM) and systems for effective and efficient Project Management.
• Developed and coordinated the building of procurement management capacity within MiDA.
• Directed the preparation of half yearly Procurement Plans, General Procurement Notices and, invitation to bid (RFQ, ICB, IFB, RFP) for Goods, Works (Small and Large Works), Services and Non-Consulting Services, advertising and issuance to all interested bidders.
• Finalization and approval of Evaluation Panels, briefing of Evaluation Panels, providing guidance on the finalization of reports and ensuring all reports obtained MiDA Management, Board and MCC 'No objections'.
• Advising on and monitoring Contract Variation Orders, Contract Amendments, Modifications and Supplementary Agreements.
• Advising and assisting Directors/Project Managers with the finalization of Terms of Reference, Evaluation Criteria, Payment Terms and Deliverables.
• Identified opportunities for continuous improvement in the Procurement function and Best Value utilization of the funds, development and benchmarking.
• Reviewed and approved all Procurement decisions of MiDA in conformity with MCC Program Procurement Guidelines Attachment 1 (Attachment D).
• Served as the Representative of MiDA in all procurement actions and matters.
• From March 2007 to February 16, 2012 MiDA awarded under by supervision 855 contracts valued at USD 512,783,943.22 without one (1) Bid Challenge. The biggest Contract awarded and managed was the N1 Lot 2 valued at over USD113, 949,694 (Compact 1 Funds only) using FIDIC Terms and Conditions of C
