I am a results-focused and highly productive plant geneticist and research manager with over 25 years of experience across commercial plant breeding, biotechnology R&D, project and product management, organizational leadership and strategic planning. My background includes managing crop breeding and biotechnology research programs, redefining and restructuring research strategies and managing product development for leading Fortune 500 agricultural corporations. I am also a published author with extensive experience as Editor for Crop Science and Agronomy Journal.

Most recently, I provided strategic guidance and development to exploit R&D data as Strategic Data Resource Lead for Syngenta Biotechnology, Inc. I led the station through two successful stewardship audits and one HSE audit. Prior to this temporary position, I focused on reducing the costs of goods by improving parental traits in corn as team lead.

Previously, I worked as Technology Center Lead of the Plant Science Division at BASF and directed a team supporting collaborative research. Prior to this role, as Crop Genetics Research Manager, I managed a team that generated mapping populations, genetic stocks and genetic linkage maps. I was moved to this position after a successful tenure as Senior Global Product Manager, where I managed project focusing on discovery of genes for agronomic traits.
