Professional Experience:
I started off studying Computer Science at Stanford, graduating in the top 15% of my class. I also completed a Master's Degree in Management Science and Engineering at Stanford (with a strong focus in Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration).

After college, I worked for a few years as a programmer and then at McKinsey & Company as a management consultant.

I left McKinsey to start my first company, an online retail website, which reached over a million users every month within a short period of time.

After ~3 years, that business was sold and I used the part of the proceeds to start and work in my second business, Village Infrastructure Angels, a venture about which I'm passionate.

At Village Infrastructure, I learned all aspects of working and running an international non-profit. We worked from 3 locations and delivered to 4 other countries. We had warehouses in China and logistics that spanned the globe.

Today, Village Infrastructure (which is still ongoing), provides basic electricity to hundreds of households and thousands of people around the globe, in an economically sustainable manner.

My experience is unique in that it spans both high-level strategy and in-the-trenches implementation. I am able to think about problems strategically, as well as solve day to day problems that happen on the ground. In addition, I have a technical background in computer science and web technologies, that allows me integrate technical solutions easily and effectively into my work.

Ideally, I'm looking for an innovative role that lies at the intersection of technology and non-profit or humanitarian work.
